EB-1

Extraordinary Ability

The Extraordinary Ability (EB-1) petition is a way to gain legal status in the United States for people who have an extraordinary ability in their field. This could be in the arts, music, business, education, or athletics. You will be required to prove you excel in your field with reference letters or recognized awards. You do not need an employer to sponsor you.

National Interest Waiver

The National Interest Waiver (NIW) is a way to gain legal status in the United States for people who have an advanced degree, exceptional skill, or knowledge. You have to be able to show you excel in your field with references or research. Common examples of people with advanced degrees are engineers, scientists, researchers, physicians, dentists, or economists. You do not need an employer to sponsor you.


EB-5

Investor Green Card

The EB-5 is a way to gain legal status in the United States by investing in a business and creating jobs in the United States. The minimum investment amounts are typically $500,000 in underserved areas or $1 million in general.
